Through the cooperation with the renowned specialist firm
WÜWA Bau, Nuremberg, Germany, Terex has added
tunnel shields and tunnel construction equipment for pipe
driving and micro-tunnelling to its product range of tunnelling,
mining and special machines in November 2004.
WÜWA Bau (a member of the Max Bögl group of companies)
offers complete pipe driving systems ranging in diameter from 1.0
metre to 4.0 metres as well as competent consulting engineering
and support from the initial planning stage right through to the
successful implementation of pipe driving works. Thanks to their
extensive experience spanning over decades in international tunnel
and pipe driving, customized and cost-optimized alternatives to
conventional solutions are developed.
